As with all things, our journey too started with a single wish - to bring to the cinemas of India, the tastiest popcorn in the world.
And what better way to do this than to team up with the world's favourite popcorn supplier, Preferred Popcorn, USA!
In 2014, our partnership with the renowned farmer grown company in Nebraska, USA, allowed us to import kernels to produce the most delicious popcorn premix for movie-goers across the country.
In 2018, with the guidance of our American partners, we began using the 75 year old tradition of nurturing corn, to grow the highest quality corn in our very own home state of Andhra Pradesh.

Popping away since 2014
Incorporated Gourmet Popcornica LLP in August 2014
Started supplies to the two largest movie chains in India
Introduced our ready to eat gourmet popcorn range
Supplying to over 2,000 screens across India
Opened our bulk corn processing plant factory at Nuzvid, Andhra Pradesh
Launched our retail brand Krug & Co.
Further expanded our cultivation to 20,000 acres
Launched the plantation for Palm Oil across 1,000 acres
Opened our very own state-of-the-art popcorn storage and production facility at Musunuru, Andhra Pradesh
